Rural Development Society, Bankura

This project aimed at rehabilitating 85 leprosy cured women through education, skill training and capacity building in Kalyanpur leprosy colony, Bankura, West Bengal. During 6 this period, 5 health camps and health checkups were conducted. The target women were trained in mushroom cultivation, nursery raising, rope making. Five self-help groups have been formed to manage thrift savings and micro-credit and maintenance of records.
