2012 Annual Event
The 2012 annual event will be held on April 22nd, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mercer Island Community Center. More details are coming soon.

February monthly meeting
The February monthly meeting will be held on February 19, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Microsoft main campus. Please email us if you are interested in attending.

Screening of Vanaja with the writer director Mr. Rajnesh Domalpalli
PPI screened the movie Vanaja, in Building 50, Microsoft Campus. The writer and director of the film, Mr. Rajnesh Domalpalli, joined us for the event. The movie screening event was very well received.

2010 Annual event

The 2010 annual event was held on Sunday, May 2nd at the "Community Center at Mercer view". There were project presentations, Flamenco dance by "Tacoma Flamenco". More than 130 people event attended the event.

Development, Diaspora, and the Next Generation
On May 15, 2010, University of Washington held an event called, Development, Diaspora, and the Next Generation: Mapping, Learning, and Building, South Asian Community. Shantha Bengal and Pran Wahi were part of a panel discussion. Yeshodara Menon, a graduate student at University of Washington and a PPI supporter, presented about PPI projects at the event.

Community leaders and services
On April 28, 2010 University of Washington held a symposium about community leaders and services. Pranoti setup a booth on behalf of PPI.

World Languages Day
On March 5, 2010 University of Washington organized a culture fair commemorating World Languages Day. Pranoti presented the benefits of volunteering with PPI to a group of high-school students.

Annual event was held on April 25, 2009
The PPI annual event was held on April 25 at the Northshore senior center in Bothell. Pratidhwani group performed "Mother in another language". The play was entertaining and the event was enjoyed by all the attendees.
Ruchi Kapoor's GRAVIS visit

Ruchi Kapoor, a medical student in New York gave a fascinating talk about her visit to GRAVIS, Rajasthan. She presented her site trip details in August 2008.

Krishnammal Jagannathan’s visit

Krishnammal Jagannathan of LAFTI visited seattle in November 2008 as recipient of the 'Opus Prize', awarded by the University of Seattle. During her visit, there were presentations of the current projects in LAFTI. PPI worked with LAFTI on several projects since 1985.

Drs. Prakash Amte and Mandakini Amte’s visit

Dr. Prakash Amte and Dr. Mandakini Amte visited Seattle in July 2008. The visit was part of their North America fund raising tour.
