Despite a late monsoon delaying agricultural work, this new project has completed preparatory work of forming SHGs and training tribal women in record keeping, credit and fund management. The first phase of kitchen gardening - that is raising seeds - has been accomplished by the women through a nursery. Anti-termite precaution and seed preservation have been undertaken. The seeds distributed include drumstick, eggplant, onion, cauli flower, cabbage and pappaya. Seeing the progress made by micro support activities, other villages have become interested in starting similar projects. All in all, very good begining in the first three months.
